Launching our season in fine style we present the JOE TRIO, consisting of Cameron Wilson (violin), Allen Stiles (piano), Charles Inkman (cello). “Not your average piano trio”, they strive for diversity, versatility, fun, and unpredictability. Joe Trio’s presentation is lively, humorous, and with lots of pizzazz. We think you’ll love it! Great music for the whole family.

All three have received prestigious awards, earned critical praise and, most importantly, have charmed their audiences. This concert features the soaring music of the French horn matched with a wonderful soprano voice, supported and complemented by a masterful pianist. Sheer delight!

Foothills Brass Quintet

Chris Morrison, trumpet
Jay Michalak, trumpet
Joanna Schulz, French horn
Mike Tutton, trombone
Bob Nicholson, tuba

This group of four is composed of two Prince Edward Islanders, Pastelle LeBlanc (accordion, piano, dance, voice) and her twin sister Emmanuelle LeBlanc (bodhran, piano, whistles, dance, voice), and Louis-Charles Vigneau (guitar, banjo, mandoline, voice) and Pascal Miousse (fiddle, mandolin, guitar, voice), both from the Magdalen Islands. Their music is “a hearty mixture of the French, Irish and Scottish styles of Eastern Canada”. It reflects a joie de vivre – flying fingers, tapping feet, and a sense of celebration.
