Duo Fortin-Poirier concert

Rianna Robinson is presently a second year Bachelor of Music voice student at Dalhousie University studying with Professor Marcia Swanston.  She is grateful for the generous scholarships she has received from Dalhousie University, including a Fountain School of Music renewable Scholarship awarded annually to eight music and theatre students.

Soon after the start of her voice study with Marie McCarthy, Rianna was invited to perform the role of one of the Spirits in Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) with Halifax Summer Opera Workshop.  This past year, Rianna performed with Opera Nova Scotia in Purcell's "King Arthur" and in Dal Opera's production of "Riders to the Sea".  Rianna will perform the role of Second Lady in "The Magic Flute" with Dalhousie Opera, February 2 - 5, 2017.
